This week I worked on items for my portfolio to turn in by the end of the month. I finished up my Tudor and Jacobean house and put it into --- to showcase it. Sadly with the short time I have to tur Iin my portfolio, I will not be able to add textures and materials to my house and will have to color it solid. I also worked on a piece that i have been working on for a while now and am trying to finish to add to my portfolio.

Mathematics-
Geometry-
I used proportions in my decision to make the house two stories and thinner than other more modern houses. I also beveled the hard edges in my model to define the corners more when looking at the faces head-on. this worked because the normals fro the new beveled faces were differently facing than the ones on either side of the edge, making a contrast in each part of the model that was beveled.
Number and Quantity-
While beveling my hard edges, I used percentages in order to determine how much of the edge would be beveled and how much I wanted the edges to stick out. If the percentage was higher, the beveled face would stick out more as it would be larger and vice-versa.
